The SS Thorfinn is a liveaboard that is fifty eight metres or one hundred and ninety feet long that is powered by a steam engine. This boat has been designed and built to accommodate twenty two scuba diving guests. The boat has eleven fully air conditioned state rooms where all these guests are housed. The vessel has a professionally qualified team of twenty one crew members who attend to all the needs and wants of the scuba diving guests.
Each of the eleven cabins or rooms has been designed and built to accommodate two people or couples. Nine of the eleven rooms have large double beds in them with adjacent single bed berths. Eight of the eleven cabins have private facilities. The occupants of three of the rooms will have to share two showers and toilets with other guests on the boat. A big ‘C’ deck guest lounge with a shade canopy, camera service tables and a hefty deck area is also available for guests to enjoy. There is always fresh water available on this liveaboard twenty four hours a day every day. There is also a massive hot water spa for scuba divers to relax in after their respective dives. There are two scuba diving service areas which prevent overcrowding and give each group of six scuba divers suitable valet systems such as scuba diving gear handling. Rinse tanks, deck showers, fresh towels and gear bins are also provided onboard.
