Wikipedia, the free encyclopaedia on the internet, describes Palau as, quote “Palau, officially the Republic of Palau, is an island nation in the Pacific Ocean, five hundred miles (or eight hundred kilometres) east of the Philippines and two thousand miles (or three thousand two hundred kilometres) south of Tokyo. In 1978, after three decades as being part of the United Nations trusteeship, Palau chose independence instead of becoming part of the Federated States of Micronesia, a Compact of Free Association was approved in 1986 but not ratified until 1993. It was put into force the following year, making it one of the world’s youngest and smallest sovereign states. In English, the name is sometimes spelled Belau in accordance with the native pronunciation” end quote.
The Ocean Hunter 1 is a sixty foot or eighteen metres long liveaboard yacht that was specifically designed and built to accommodate six guests or scuba divers. The yacht is a steel motor sailor. This liveaboard craft has three cabins on it. Each of the cabins has a private bathroom as well as full air conditioning. The first cabin or as it is referred to Cabin One, is located at the front of the yacht and can house two scuba divers or people in single bunks. Cabin Two is situated behind Cabin One and can accommodate two people as well in similar single bunk beds. Cabin Three has been built and placed right at the back of the yacht and has room for two scuba divers or guests which provides a king size bed as well as a twin bed that are pushed next to each other side by side.
